On October 20th at Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath, Michigan, Attorney Charity Olson held an education seminar which was attended by more than 80 Credit and Collections Professionals based in the state of Michigan.
Topics covered by Charity included the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and related consumer statutes. Charity serves as the state compliance chair for the State of Michigan for ACA International (the Association of Credit and Collections Professionals) and is a past president and current board member of the Michigan Association of Collection Agencies.
Attendees provided feedback that the seminar was extremely helpful for them to continue industry education, stay up to date with legislation and network with collections professionals. Thank you to Charity for hosting this excellent education seminar!
