Universal Credit Services’ Collection Manager and Army veteran, Kelly Meade has reached the Finals of the Ms. Veteran America crown. Although “She Served Like A Girl” for her country, her service has not stopped there. She has continued to serve her fellow Veterans by giving her time, energy and resources to bring awareness to the epidemic of homeless women veterans. She has been recently presented with the honor of a Special Tribute by Representative Mike Bishop on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives for her exhaustive work with the Oakland County Veteran Treatment Court. Along with the help of the Ms. Veteran America Awareness Movement she is bringing to light “The Woman Beyond the Uniform”. The Ms. Veteran America competition highlights more than the strength, courage, and sacrifice of our nation’s military women, but also reminds us that these women are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Wives.
